What is 501?
It’s a community of young adults in their 20’s and 30’s from all walks of life seeking to know, follow and preach Jesus. Together our confident hope is that we will see God in the “grounding, growing and giving” nature of life. By doing life together we will each see God make us more:
• Grounded in spiritual truth – Living by the truth of God’s Word
• Growing in faith – Trusting God with increasingly more aspects of our lives and knowing Jesus
face to face
• Giving our lives away – Investing in others purposefully
501 is a Place, a Portal and a Process
501 is a PLACE ... to belong, to be known and to really know others. It’s a place to be real in a way that allows you to relax and enjoy God and each other. We hope the relationships you develop in 501 will grow into the life-giving community Scripture calls us to live in and live out.
501 is a PORTAL ... or connection to other important activities, relationships and functions within the church. Fellowship offers many exciting opportunities including Men’s and Women’s Ministries, Celebrate Recovery, Unleash Ministries, Missions and service projects.
501 is a PROCESS ... a means of becoming more like Christ and maturing into what God envisions and empowers us to become. More than events, gatherings and connections, 501 aims to equip and unleash young adults to live irresistible lifestyles of love and service.
What’s Going On?
Thursday Nights are for all of 501 to get together. Everything kicks off at 7:00PM in the Warehouse. 501 is a time to meet friends both new and old; for biblical teaching, worship and smaller group connections all rolled into one. The Blob
Blobs gather every Thursday night as part of 501 Thursday Nights. Designed to be organic and easy in nature, new Blobs are formed and more folks become a part of existing ones each week. Blobs are structured around the sharing of life and the study of God’s Word in a smaller group setting. Blobs are both a place for relationships to deepen and a “portal” for those who want to connect to this kind of community for the first time.
Special Events
Throughout the year, 501 will be getting together as a community to have a little fun. From tailgates to a spring ski trips we’ll leverage the power of “together” to get the chance to do some things out of the ordinary.
