I grew up in a small town in southern Arkansas. Like most of the boys my age where I grew up, I played pretty much every sport that was available. My family was involved in a local church but it wasn’t until late in Junior High that I really connected in our church. God began to use music to connect me with the youth group at my church My family had always been a musical family, with most of our family playing an instrument or singing. I grew up playing guitar, but it wasn’t until my youth director asked me to play in our worship band that I had an outlet to play outside of my home.
Over the next few years, God began to show me that the gifts He had given me were meant to be used for His glory and for equipping the church. Soon after, I felt a lifelong call to be a pastor and to lead people to God. I’ve been leading worship since ever since. After several years of traveling and leading worship while also earning a Worship and Arts degree from Ouachita Baptist University I began a partnership with Fellowship Bible Church. I loved this church from the first time that I came here and have been blessed to be a part of what God is doing through this church for many years now.
My hope for Fellowship is that we would be a people that are known for our growing devotion to God and our extraordinary love for people.
