I was raised in a Christian home where my parents would read a Bible story and pray with me each night as I went to bed. I grew up loving to hear these amazing stories, and at nine years old God worked in my heart where I understood, for the first time, that God loved me so much that He sent His son, Jesus, to die for me and rescue me from sin and death.
In the years that followed, I went from faith in God’s grace and forgiveness to trying to earn His favor by being good, and by the time I went to college, I was exhausted from my pursuit of perfection. But in His amazing love and faithfulness, God didn’t leave me there. He provided godly friends and a mentor through Campus Crusade who patiently pursued me and encouraged me to trust in God’s goodness. Those years taught me so much about what it means to disciple others and the way God works through people to accomplish His purposes.
As a result of others pouring into my life, God has developed the desire in me to do the same for others. I love getting to see women grow in their faith in Jesus and desire to know Him and make Him known.
My hope for Fellowship is that we would be a people who live with an urgency and passion to show others the love of Jesus because we are so overwhelmed with His great love for us.
