Where did you grow up?

Edmond, OK

What was your first job ever?

I mowed lawns growing up, but the first job I was ever paid for was working the grounds crew for Snowden Grove in Southaven, MS, which at least at the time was the nation’s biggest little league baseball park.

What do you enjoy most about your job at Fellowship?

I love the moments we get to see it “click” with students, whether it’s them realizing a truth about Jesus or even the moment they actually experience salvation. No matter where on the “importance” spectrum, I love seeing students grow in their knowledge, understanding, and experience of Jesus.

If you attended college, where did you go?

Ouachita Baptist University!

Tell us about your personal life! Family, hobbies, etc.

My wife Emma and I have two girls, Maisy and Betsy. With little girls, we’re all about family tea parties, dance parties, doll houses, and sidewalk chalk. When I get some downtime after everyone is asleep, I also love playing video games.

What’s your favorite food?

Cheesecake. Or Reese’s Cups. …but rarely Reese’s Cheesecake.

When/how did you begin your relationship with Jesus Christ?

I grew up in a church in Edmond, OK and my mom was on staff. Anytime the church was doing something, we were there. When I was in elementary school, I started asking questions about Jesus and eventually gave my life to HIm. That being said, High School was when I made my faith my own, thanks to an incredible student ministry in Olive Branch, MS. Thanks to my parents who love Jesus and wanted the same for me, I would say I experienced saving faith at a young age, but it wasn’t until I was a teenager that it began to take root and grow.

What’s one thing about you that others would be surprised to know?

I used to work at a hot dog cart in town.
