Where did you grow up?

I grew up in Dallas, Texas.

What was your first job ever?

My first job was packing groceries at a Kroger Supermarket.

What do you enjoy most about your job at Fellowship?

I enjoy envisioning the future and teaching.

If you attended college, where did you go?

I graduated from the University of Texas and Dallas Theological Seminary.

Tell us about your personal life! Family, hobbies, etc.

I am married to Ann and we are celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary this year (June 1). We have four children who all live in Little Rock. Two of my sons are custom home builders (Parkinson Building Group), my daughter has a bridal store (Unveiled), and I have a third son who is paid to be good. We have 8 grandchildren ranging in age from 3-19. I love all sports and have spent the most time in the last 10 years fishing, hunting, and playing golf.

What’s your favorite food?

I love steak, baked potatoes, and a big salad.

When/how did you begin your relationship with Jesus Christ?

I became a Christian through the ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ at the University of Texas. My girlfriend and several men shared with me and spent time in a small group bible study.

What’s one thing about you that others would be surprised to know?

I am a little bit of an introvert.
