I grew up in Dallas, Texas.
My first job was packing groceries at a Kroger Supermarket.
I enjoy envisioning the future and teaching.
I graduated from the University of Texas and Dallas Theological Seminary.
I am married to Ann and we are celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary this year (June 1). We have four children who all live in Little Rock. Two of my sons are custom home builders (Parkinson Building Group), my daughter has a bridal store (Unveiled), and I have a third son who is paid to be good. We have 8 grandchildren ranging in age from 3-19. I love all sports and have spent the most time in the last 10 years fishing, hunting, and playing golf.
I love steak, baked potatoes, and a big salad.
I became a Christian through the ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ at the University of Texas. My girlfriend and several men shared with me and spent time in a small group bible study.
I am a little bit of an introvert.
