Life Story

I grew up in Oklahoma City in a Nazarene church where I professed faith in Christ and was baptized when I was 7. My family moved to Little Rock when I was 11 because my parents joined staff with Family Life. We ended up getting plugged into a local Baptist church with a great youth pastor that really poured into my life.  Even though during this time my relationship with Christ grew, I still faced the all too common struggle of making my faith in Christ my own when I moved out of my parent’s house and went to college.

After a few years of “Daniel in charge” living, I had met a guy that was leading worship at a church in northwest Arkansas who asked me to start playing keys with him. It was through this connection that I ended up at Fellowship Bible Church in northwest Arkansas working as a worship/tech intern. I had some incredible roommates living in the church with me that had a great influence on me. God had put these guys in my life in order to bring me closer to Him and grab a hold of my life again.

Fast forward a few years – I moved back to Little Rock, God opened the doors for me to join staff with Fellowship Bible Church on the tech team. As I was being mentored/discipled by my old youth pastor, God was working in my life and changing me.  After some various other job changes, I am extremely happy God led me back to Fellowship to work on the tech team again.

My wife, Whitney, and I love this church and feel extremely blessed to be where God has called us to for this stage of life. The most recent journey we have started is parenthood, which is pretty awesome! Our son, Hudson, has been a huge blessing to our life and family. God continually shows and reminds me why “God in charge” living is a much more fulfilling life to live.

Hope for Fellowship

My hope for Fellowship is that God uses this building, this staff, and His people to be a place where people can come and feel the loving acceptance of His grace. I want people to walk in the doors into an environment that they will feel connected, and people care about them. That this would be a place where people’s lives are transformed and people aggressively follow after Christ.
