Where did you grow up?

I grew up in Little Rock, but was born in Minneapolis and spent time there as well.

What was your first job ever?

McAlister’s Deli – everyone knew I was from the north because I always said: “How are YOU GUYS doing today?”

What do you enjoy most about your job at Fellowship?

I love that I get to work with kids each week, the parents and the volunteers! Getting to write lessons that allow preschoolers to see Jesus is a great joy! I love how they can take what they have learned and apply it at home.

If you attended college, where did you go?

The King’s College in New York City, NY.

Tell us about your personal life! Family, hobbies, etc.

I am married to my husband of 12 years, Damon. I am a momma to 4 kiddos. Two of them, Collins and Kinley, I get the joy of raising here on earth. Two of them, Grayson and Tacy, I have the pleasure of being their earthly momma while they play with Jesus in heaven. I love throwing parties, crafting, creating and fashion! Most of all, I love to love on mommies who have lost babies. It has become my heartbeat since we lost our first baby 6 years ago.

What’s your favorite food?

Chicken Devon is my all time favorite!

When/how did you begin your relationship with Jesus Christ?

I was 7 years old and I was organizing my shoes (says a little about who I am)… It was a Sunday and I was thinking about all that I heard at Sunday school that day. I got down on my knees and just talked to Jesus and told Him that I wanted to follow Him my whole life.  And while life has had its peaks and valleys, God has been my sovereign sustainer, constantly showing me that I am not in control, as much as I would like to be! And to this day, I have an obsession with shoes – I tell my hubby it’s a God thing! ☺

What’s one thing about you that others would be surprised to know?

I wanted to be a forensic pathologist growing up.  In fact, I toured the Arkansas State Crime lab and saw an autopsy being done! The only reason I didn’t pursue this was my love for kids!
