North Little Rock, AR
My first job was tearing apart furniture in an upholstery shop. I was hired specifically to tear down the chairs and booths from every Wendy’s restaurant in Arkansas.
The most enjoyable part of my job is helping kids to see Jesus in every story of the Bible. I love the a-ha moments when they understand how Jesus is the fulfillment of all God’s promises.
I attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
I married my college sweetheart, Dana, and we are doing our best to raise two little girls, Maggie and Macy. We love to spend time at the lake or river, and we love ice cream dates in the summer! I spend most of my other time obsessing over the New York Mets.
Anything made by Little Debbie.
When I was in elementary school, I became very aware of my sin and its consequences. While serving a punishment at the summer daycare that involved carrying all dirty diapers to the dumpster, I began a conversation with a friend about sin and forgiveness. He shared the Gospel with me and helped me to understand how Jesus was the perfect sacrifice that paid for my sins. As the Holy Spirit worked in my heart, I knelt beside the big blue dumpster and confessed Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I’ve been on a journey of growing and experiencing God’s grace ever since that day.
The list is long. People might be surprised to know that…I majored in French in college, I worked for 6 years on a Cricket Farm, and I have webbed toes.
