Where did you grow up?

A small town in the Black Hills of South Dakota – Deadwood. HBO made a movie on Deadwood – I don’t recommend. 🙂

What was your first job ever?

Shoeshine boy on the streets of Deadwood. Historic tourist town.

What do you enjoy most about your job at Fellowship?

Being used in the lives of hurting people, to offer soul care and prayer and encouragement.

If you attended college, where did you go?

Boise State as in Boise State Broncos.

Tell us about your personal life! Family, hobbies, etc.

Married 37 years to a supermodel, two grown sons, My wife and I ride a tandem bike together (have averaged 6,000 miles per year until recently we dialed it back due to her health issues), boat together, walk together, gym fitness workouts together, and we do sleepovers together, regularly 🙂

What’s your favorite food?

Organic, fresh, local anything.

When/how did you begin your relationship with Jesus Christ?

At the age of 18, in the stillness of our own home, while watching Billy Graham on our black/white television I cried out to Jesus to save me and invited him into my heart.

What’s one thing about you that others would be surprised to know?

That I have an alias name…Used to be Rob Smith.
